perfect for a friday: key west inspiration.

Hold please.  A kitchen like this makes me think my favorite color isn't white.  It might really be this airy, beautiful shade of aqua.  And pale, yummy yellow.

Thanks to House of Turquoise for sharing this cheery kitchen.  Its fresh and happy Key West color palette reminds me of our Caribbean honeymoon, spent in the Bahamas, where I fell in love with pastel-hued houses.  Like right out of a bag of saltwater taffy (which happens to be my favorite in the candy dept., in case you're taking notes).

As I dream of Miami Vices, here's to the weekend.  May yours include a fruity drink with a tiny umbrella!

When/where was your honeymoon? We were just in the Bahamas in April. Our friends have two beach houses in Hope town on Elbow Cay - it is soooo beautiful over there!!

It is SO beautiful in the Bahamas. We were there in April 09 and on Nassau for half, and Eleuthera for the other half. Most of those pics are from Eleuthera and Harbour Island, which we didn't 'stay' on, but it's just across the harbor from Eleuthera and we made a couple of day trips there... Must take advantage of having friends with beach houses - hope you guys go back again and often!

Thanks for coming by, Saara! Have a great weekend.
